What is summer? For students, summer is the time for vacation. It is what we call “Break” for all the stress we had in the past couple of days. Summer is defined as one of the four temperate seasons. It marks the warmest time of year with the longest days. Well, I completely agree with that. It is the most temperate season of all seasons. I always have sunburns whenever summer comes and that really irritates me but I really do like the beach at summer. The cool sea, the sandy beach, the smell of barbecues, and much more that I can think of.
      There was a time that the temperature roofed at 38oC. I was walking to the resort and I saw some kind of heat waves. It was so hot that I got sunburn before dipping in the pool. I wanted to play summer games and activities at that time but the heat was surprisingly overwhelming. I cannot stay in the open for so long that I seek shelter. I am burning. Oops! I was burned! Oh! I forgot to stay that it was last year, April 2008. Remember that year that there were severe heat waves across countries that killed more than 40 people.
      This year, April 2009, I had swimming with my friends. The pool was irritating to the nose. Water went in to my nose and the water was sprinkled with chlorine (Cl). We had this inflated ball (plastic only not the basketball) and we played it. It was a beautiful day and the sun really coped with us with beautiful sunshine.
      Summer is never-ending. It just turns to a pause and play again after some time. It is one of the four seasons. It shows that the earth is still in its orbit and rotates in its own axis (not somebody’s axis). We must rejoice for summer for we do not have CLASSES.
